Contributors in art education, educational leadership, counselor education, physical therapy, and nutrition therapy describe current approaches in health education and encourage health educators and practitioners to step out of the box and design new approaches to healing. Most of the contributions draw on the methods of multigenre medicine, multigenre writing, and narrative medicine, with a focus on the patient’s experience. Some subjects explored include spirituality and health, writing to transform health, preventing burnout among higher education administration, promoting health education in post-earthquake Haiti, and technology for building a holistic patient experience.
