Editors Al-Suqri and Al-Aufi present students, academics, researchers, and professionals working in a wide variety of contexts with a collection of scholarly papers and academic articles that together provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary overview of the theories and meta-theories behind information science. The editors have organized the sixteen contributions that make up the main body of the text in three parts devoted to metatheories, information needs and information seeking behavior theories and models, and technology adoption theories.
