Editor/Author Biographies
B.PanduRanga Narasimharao obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India with specialisation in Phycology (Microbiology and Biotechnology). He also have qualified in human resource management and also in distance education by obtaining post graduate dipolomas. He has research, teaching and outreach experience in the University system (tertiary education system). His expereince includes both in traditional classroom education system and Open Distance Learning system. He was founder director of Centre for Outreach Programmes in University of Mysore and founder Dy. Director(cum faculty) of Centre for Corporate Educcation, Training and Consultancy which IGNOU established in 2009. He presented and published number of papers related to various subjects covering open distance learning, science education, Biotechnology/Microbiology edudcation, corporate education, outreach programmes, algal biotechnology, and student support services in ODL. He also has experience in academic administration working as Regional Director in IGNOU system for more than 15 years.
Elizabeth Wright is Associate Vice President and Secretary to the Board of the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences in Claremont, California. KGI’s graduate and professional curricula embrace the intersection between the biosciences and the bioscience and health care industries, with a commitment to scientific innovation capable of strengthening communities and improving lives. Her prior positions include serving as executive assistant to the president at Western Washington University, as executive assistant to the executive vice president in the University of Wisconsin System, as Interim Dean of the University of Wisconsin-Rock County and as special assistant to the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin Colleges. Wright earned Juris Doctor, Master of Public Administration and Master of political science degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
