Editor/Author Biographies
María del Pilar Muñoz Dueñas is Spanish. She is a researcher and a lecturer in Accounting and ERP at the University of Vigo (Spain), and she also lectures Accounting, Finance and theory of organisations at the Universidad Nacional Española a Distancia (UNED). She holds a degree in Business Administration (1993) from the University of Vigo (Spain), a degree in European Economics Business Management (1995) from the University of Maine (France) and a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration (2008) from the University of Vigo (Spain). Her main research interests are both the Corporate Social Responsibility and the business management. She has published articles in international journals, books, and conference proceedings.
Lucia Aiello is professor to contract in Organization Theory in University of Rome, Sapienza, Italy. She is a responsible of research and analysis in InContra, Industrial Relations Center. She has been Researcher Senior in Theory Organization, University of Rome, Italy, Universitas Mercatorum. She is a Ph.D. in Marketing and Communication from University of Salerno, Italy. Her main research interests are Cultural Organizations; Industrial Relations; Digital Innovation in Organizations; the Business Innovation for SMEs. She is Editor for Igi Global; Journal JDTA, International Journal of Digital Content Technology and its Applications; Journal ANC, Advances in Network and Communications. She has been Member of Organizing Chairs of ITAIS2015, Sapienza and Assistant to Conference Program Chairs, (2012-2014), Business Systems Laboratory International, Universitas Mercatorum. She has published in international books, journals and conference proceedings.
Maria do Rosário Cabrita holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration. She is Assistant Professor and senior researcher at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Assistant Professor at the Portuguese Banking Management School. She is also professor at the Public Administration Institute. She has more than 60 published articles in conferences, book chapters and refereed scientific journals. Her teaching activities in graduates and post-graduates programmes include topics on intellectual capital, knowledge management, eco-innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable business, measuring intangibles and financials for entrepreneurs. She is member of the scientific committee of the Entrepreneurial Program for Undergraduate Students at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. As member of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Industrial Engineering, she supervises doctoral students on different topics that combine engineering fields and management background, such as intellectual capital, knowledge management and innovation performance applied to supply chain, logistics, production, environmental management systems, etc. She has served as project coordinator and an expert for several national and international research projects (e.g. FCT, QREN, ANI, FP7) at the private and public institutions. Her main research interests include, at the microeconomic level, topics such as intellectual capital, knowledge management, entrepreneurship, measuring intangibles and eco-innovation. At the macroeconomic level, her main research interests are related to knowledge-based development, science parks, innovation ecosystems and regional intellectual capital. She is now involved in a macro project focusing on the evaluation of sources of productivity in the knowledge economy in the Latin America countries. She is author of the book Capital Intelectual e Desempenho Organizacional, and co-authored, with Prof. José Maria Viedma, of the book Entrepreneurial Excellence in the Knowledge Economy. She has several years of experience in various management positions in international banks (Lloyds Bank Plc, Barclays Bank Plc and Citibank) as Regional Credit Manager and Resident-Vice President.
Mauro Gatti is Full Professor in Organization Theory, Sapienza, University of Rome, Italy. He is Management Coordinator as part of the PhD in Management, Banking and Commodity Sciences. His current teaching position are Business Administration (Degree Triennale - Efimp - 6 credits), Organization and Human Resource Management (Master of Science - Manimp - 6 ECTS). His research areas prevail are Organization and Human Resources, particularly Organizational design; Organizational networks; Relationships between organization and innovation in clusters of firms, alliances, partnerships; Organizational and inter-organizational trust; Organizational culture; Human resources management; Knowledge Management: Relationships between social capital and intellectual capital; Organizational and inter-organizational mechanism of knowledge creation, diffusion, and transfer; Corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and sustainability: work-place well-being; Social and environmental reports; Ethics in business behavior; Sustainability in social sciences.
