Editor/Author Biographies
Bruno S. Sergi is an Instructor at Harvard University, where he is also an Associate of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, and a Faculty Affiliate in the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He also teaches at the University of Messina and has taught at New York University. He is an Associate Editor of The American Economist and his longstanding research interests center on the economics of emerging markets. Published extensively, Professor Sergi’s work has been reviewed in a broad spectrum of scholarly journals such as Comparative Economic Studies; European Journal of Development Research; International Labour Review; International Journal of Production Research; Journal of Economic Issues; Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management; Journal of Management Devel-opment; Journal of Post Keynesian Economics; Management Decision; Technology Analysis & Strategic Management; Thunderbird International Business Review. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Greenwich Business School – London.
Filip Fidanoski is one of the leading Macedonian economists and scholars. He is the first experimental economist from Republic of Macedonia. His alma maters are Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and University in Luxembourg. He has worked at several European research universities. Importantly, he is continuing his career as a Scientia scholar at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and currently is Director of the Institute of Advanced Financial Economics at the International Center for Emerging Markets Research in Moscow, RUDN University and Harvard University. His career is professionally dedicated to applied microeconomics, asset pricing, banking, behavioral finance, contract theory, experimental finance, financial economics, game theory, institutional economics and governance, organizational economics and risk, through consultancy, and scientific research. He is a reviewer, editor, translator, author and coauthor of a many articles, papers, and chapters published in distinguished journals. Specifically, he has edited two books and two special issues and has organized and chaired several academic conferences, workshops and seminars in Portugal, Poland, UK, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Germany, and Italy. Furthermore, he serves as a member of the editorial boards of four journals and as a referee for a dozen journals. He completed many projects in cooperation with the best world universities and international organizations, such as Hong Kong Polytechnic University, European Commission, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, and so on. He is a member of the Society for Economic Measurement. In addition, his texts and interviews have appeared in influential mediums in Republic of Macedonia. Also, he actively participates in different scientific organizations and professional events from his fields of interest. Last, but not least, he is a prominent translator and writer from the Republic of Macedonia.
Magdalena Ziolo is Associate Professor, PhD at University of Szczecin, Poland. Her research and teaching scope focus on finance and banking, especially sustainable finance, green banking, sustainable development and public finance. She has received scholarships from the Dekaban-Liddle Foundation (University of Glasgow, Scotland, 2013), Impakt Erasmus + (Ulan Bator, Mongolia, 2017,2019) and CEEPUS (University of Prishtina, Kosovo, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018). She is a member of State Quality Council, Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA). She curries out research supported by National Science Centre Poland in the scope of financing sustainable development. Her achievements encompass more than 120 reviewed papers and academic books.
Vladimir Naumovski is Associate Professor at the UACS School of Business Administration at the University of American College Skopje. He earned his doctoral degree at the European Center for Peace and Development – University of Peace established by the United Nations, Belgrade, Serbia. He was the Director of the Anti-Money Laundering Office, Founding Manager of the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion and Minister in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. Also, he was member of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia, President of the State Commission on Religious Matters, President of the Volleyball Coach Organization of Skopje, Coach of the National Team of the Republic of Macedonia in Volleyball, President of the State Census Commission of the Republic of Macedonia, Founder and President of the Management Board of the Money Market and Short-Term Securities, and Head of Delegation to the Washington Conference on Holocaust. In addition, he is the President of the Association of Economists of the City of Skopje, Representative in the Bern Union, Representative of the Association of Development Banks of South-East Europe, Expert in MONEYVAL against money laundering and financing of terrorism within the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Representative of the Republic of Macedonia in the EgmontGroup of Financial Intelligence Units, and a Member of the Business Council at the University American College Skopje. He participated both at the European Economic Forum and World Economic Forum. Finally, he is a reviewer, editor, author and co-author of a many journal articles, working and professional papers, reports, chapters, and books in English, Serbian, and Macedonian.
