Editor/Author Biographies
Veslava Osinska is an Assistant Professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She has a physics background and holds a PhD in information sciences. She is specializing in the mapping of information, which is derived from both professional databases and Internet. She currently realizes the National Science Centrum Grant on visualisation the dynamics of digital knowledge.
Grzegorz Osinski is computer scientist, cognitive scientist, quantum physicist. Head of the Institute of Computer Science at the College of Social and Media Culture in Toruń. He is involved in the analysis of nonlinear chaotic models in medical sciences and experimental psychology. In the years 2001-2002, a National Research Council grantee at the NASA / JPL laboratories in Pasadena, California. Author of numerous scientific publications on the use of numerical algorithms in experimental brain research. Currently he deals with cognitive issues of perception in the reception of visual messages. Author and co-author of popular interdisciplinary book titles, among others. “Clinical Neurology in Practice. Brain Inner" and "Chaos in the Head. Brain and life.”
