Editor/Author Biographies
Ramesh C. Poonia has rich experience of 14+ years as an academician. At present he is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Rajasthan. He has received his PhD in Computer Science from the Banasthali University - Rajasthan. His research interests include Vehicular Networks, Wireless & Mobile Networks, Network Protocol Evaluation, Network Simulation & Modeling, and Internet Congestion Control. He has published more than 22 papers and books; some of them have been published in referred journals/conference proceedings as: IEEE Trans. on Computers, IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication Engineering Systems, ACM - International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS), International Journal of Wireless & Mobile Networks – AIRCC, IGI Global, Elsevier, Springer and Inderscience. Dr. Poonia is serving as senior member, technical program committee member, member of editorial board/reviewer board of various renowned national and international conferences/journals.

Xiao-Zhi Gao received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He obtained his D.Sc. (Tech.) degree from the Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University), Finland in 1999. He has been working as a professor at the University of Eastern Finland, Finland since 2018. Prof. Gao has published more than 400 technical papers in refereed journals and international conferences. His current Google Scholar H-index is 31. His research interests are nature-inspired computing methods with their applications in optimization, data mining, machine learning, control, signal processing, and industrial electronics.

Linesh Raja is currently working as Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Rajasthan, India. He earned the Ph.D. in computer science from Jaipur National University, India Before that he has completed his Masters and Bachelor degree from Birla Institute of Technology, India. Dr. Linesh has published several research papers in the field of wireless communication, mobile networks security and internet of things in various reputed national and international journals. He has chaired various sessions of international conferences. Currently he is the editor of Handbook of Research on Smart Farming Technologies for Sustainable Development, IGI Global. At the same time he is also acting as a guest editor of various reputed journal publishing house, such as Taylor & Francis, Inderscience and Bentham Science. He is the member of ACM and founder member of ACM Jaipur chapter.
Sugam Sharma obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State University, USA in 2013. Presently, he is working in Center for Survey Statistics and Methodology, Iowa State University. His research interests include Big Data, Cloud Computing, Multidimensional Databases, GIS, Sensor Network, Smart Home, and Food Informatics. He has published several research papers in high impact factor venues and also serves as an editor for numerous prestigious journals. Previously, he also has worked as a software consultant at NAVTEQ Traffic Inc., and System Analyst at Ames National Laboratory, USA. Dr. Sharma also holds MS in Computer Science from Jackson State University, USA and BE in Computer Science from Roorkee, India. Lately, Dr. Sharma’s published work on hunger got international media attention and he was interviewed by several new and media outlets. KCCI Des Moines also aired his short interview on March 13, 2018 in 9:00 PM segment.
Sonali Vyas is serving as academician and research person from past 6+ years. Currently she is working as Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Rajasthan. She was awarded PhD in Computer Science from the Jaipur National University – Rajasthan. Her research area is Database Virtualization, Data Mining and Big Data Analytics. At present she is supervising three PhD research scholars in the field of Big Data Analytics and Data Mining in IoT. She has published research papers in referred journals/conference proceedings as: National Conference on Computational and Mathematical Sciences, JGRCST, CSIT-TCI 2015, IEEE Delhi Section, International Journal of Innovative Research in Computer and Communication Engineering and many more. She is also acting as a guest editor in Elsevier International Journal of Computer and Electrical Engineering (IJCEE) special issue. She is also acting as reviewer and member of various renowned national and international conferences/journals.
