Alona Forkosh Baruch, PhD, is senior faculty at Levinsky College of Education and a researcher at Tel Aviv University School of Education. Her research focuses on transformations in the information era, mobile learning, social media in education, technology in K12 and higher education (including teacher education), innovative pedagogical practices using technology. She has published dozens of academic papers, books and book chapters, and papers in international conferences on these topics. Her expertise in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) implementation in the education system is recognized nationally and internationally and is reflected in an academic record including extensive research experience in national as well as international research networks, consortia and international expert summits.
Hagit Meishar Tal, PhD, is a senior leacturer and the Head of Instructional Technologies BA Program in Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) in Israel. She is also a course coordinator in the MA Program in Learning Technologies in The Open University of Israel. Her main fields of research are collaborative learning, mobile learning, game-based learning, Social media as learning environmets and distance learning. She has published many papers in prestigious peer reviewed journals, as well as chapters in academic books and in international conferences proceedings.
