Editor/Author Biographies
Debasish Batabyal , PhD, is currently teaching at Amity University, Kolkata, India. Dr. Debasish regularly speaks at academic conferences in India and abroad on tourism and hospitality management, specifically on eTourism, ecotourism, destination development and management. He has authored two books and edited a book 'Managing Sustainable Tourism Resources'. He has 32 publications in various journals of repute and book chapters at national and international level. As a key member, he also worked with various research institutes and team members, including committee for the production of development reports by UNDP, District Gazetteer Development committee, Board of study, syllabus committee etc. and designed job oriented courses with industry-academia liaison.
