Selma Mosquera is Spanish and Brazilian, married, has two gorgeous sons and lives in the District of Lisbon, Portugal, where she chairs the Torres Vedras Migrant Association - AMTV and runs her own business. In addition, she is a researcher at CAPP / ISCSP-Universidade de Lisboa and a lecturer at the Visconde de Cairu Foundation-Brazil. She has two great passions: Human Development and Management. Her career includes: PhD in Human Resources Development / Entrepreneurship Policies from the University of Lisbon; Master in Human Development; Specializations in Human Resource Development and Organizational Management; a Degree in Social Work and Management. She was a Coordinator for Graduation and Specialization Programs. She served as NE-Brazil Program Manager for the NGO Suzan G. Komen (USA) and was also a Director responsible for the Development and People Management Area at SEDUC / Alagoinhas-Ba-Brasil. With over 20 years of experience, she has developed expertise in areas such as: People Management; Entrepreneurship education; Migrant entrepreneurship; Social management; Education, Teaching and Learning; Training and Human Development; Strategic planning; Recruitment and selection; Emotional education; Career Orientation; Mentoring; Corporate University; Motivation; Organizational Culture and Leadership.
Patrícia Palma holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology and Entrepreneurship and is Professor at the Social and Political Sciences Institute of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP - University of Lisbon). She is the Coordinator of both the Postgraduate Programs in “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” and "Human Resources Management" (HRM) of this same Institute. As a researcher, she has authored more than thirty chapters of books and scientific articles published in magazines such as Journal of Entrepreneurship, Public Management Review, Social Indicators Research, Journal of Enterprising Culture, or International Business Research. Patricia is co-editor of several books, such as the Applied Psychology, the Psychology for Non-Psychologists: Management in the light of Psychology or the Management and Leadership of Talents ... How To Quit the Crisis, and she is author of the book Passion and Talent at Work. In 2012, she was awarded the RH Award in the "Research" category by RH Magazine. She is the Coordinator of the School of Leadership and Innovation of ISCSP, having structured several programs of experiential training in leadership, innovation, positive coaching, quality of life or talent management, for public institutions and private companies. She is the coordinator of the ISCSP_Empreendedorismo Mission Unit, being responsible for the implementation of Local Based Entrepreneurship programs, in partnership with several Portuguese Municipalities in order to develop entrepreneurs and their new business. She regularly submits communications at international scientific conferences in the area and is frequently invited as a speaker by organizations and companies that operate in the national territory. She is a co-founder and organizer of the Congress of Organizational Behavior and Management, which brings together professors and researchers from the Portuguese-speaking world, already counting with 4 editions. She writes frequently for daily and weekly magazines and newspapers.
