Editor/Author Biographies

Patrícia Pinto holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods Applied to Economics and Management (QMAEM) from the University of Algarve. She is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Algarve, Portugal, where she got the Aggregation title. She is Director of the PhD Program in QMAEM and Coordinator of the Research Centre in Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs). Her research interests include applications of statistical methods in tourism and marketing. She has published in influential journals in the fields of Tourism Economics and Management.

Auxiliary Professor at University of Algarve (Portugal). PhD in Economic and Management Sciences, Msc in Cultural Management, and graduated in Communication Sciences. Director of the Master in Marketing Management. Co-coordinator of the Research Centre CinTurs. Research interests: Marketing and tourism, especially in brand management and place branding, consumer behavior, e-Marketing and social media, tourism experiences, arts, and events Marketing.
