Editor/Author Biographies
Furkh Zeshan is a Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, Pakistan. He is working as an In-charge of Software Engineering Program in the Department. He received Ph.D. degree from the Department of Software Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He has around 13 years of teaching and research experience at various educational and research institutes along with 2.5 years of software development experience in the software industry as a software engineer. He has published more than 35 peer-reviewed articles (cumulative IF 60+ with more than 450 citations and 14 H-index) and has supervised 20+ students (Master + Ph.D.). Moreover, he has also served different public sector universities as a member of the selection and board of studies along with delivering a keynote talk on various topics at the national and international conferences. His research interests include Service-Oriented Computing, Intelligent Recommender Systems, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Knowledge Management, and Self-Organizing Systems.
Adnan Ahmad holds a BS (Hons), MS, and Ph.D in Computer Science from GCU, Pakistan, LUMS, Pakistan, and Massey University, New Zealand, respectively. He has around thirteen years of teaching and research experience at various educational and research institutes. More than 40 peer-reviewed articles in renowned conferences and journals are on his credit including Trustcom, Computers & Security, ACM transactions, and IEEE Communication Magazine. He is a reviewer of various IEEE, Elsevier, IET, and springer journals and has been a part of TPC in several prestigious conferences. He has supervised five PhD, twelve MS thesis students, and several startup projects. He has also co-authored a book on socio-technical design. He served as the founding in-charge of Center of Advance Research in Distributed Systems and Security (CARDS) research group at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include Distributed Systems, Cyber security, Software Engineering, and Internet of things (IoT). Currently, he is performing his duties as Associate Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan.
