As an esteemed author and editor, Dr. Shahzad Aslam has lent his expertise to four impactful Books: "Cases on Teaching Pharmacology to Complementary and Alternative Medicine Students," "Multidisciplinary Applications of Natural Science for Drug Discovery and Integrative Medicine," "Artificial Intelligence Applications Using ChatGPT in Education: Case Studies and Practices," and "Workplace Cyberbullying and Behavior in Health Professions." Presently, Dr. Shahzad Aslam serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Xiamen University Malaysia. His academic journey includes obtaining a Ph.D. from the School of Bioprocess Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), where he focused on natural product chemistry. His pursuit of knowledge was supported by a prestigious scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia, under the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS). Prior to his current position, Dr. Shahzad Aslam earned a Master of Philosophy degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.) from Baqai Medical University, Pakistan. Commencing his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a production supervisor and quality control analyst, he transitioned into academia in 2013 when he assumed the role of a lecturer at Lahore Pharmacy College, Pakistan. Here, he imparted knowledge in pharmaceutical chemistry, instrumentation, and organic chemistry. His academic journey further includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Rashid Latif College of Pharmacy and Ziauddin University after the completion of his Ph.D. Dr. Shahzad Aslam's research endeavors have focused on metabolomics analysis, fragmentation analysis of bioactive compounds, polyherbal formulations, and their interactions in wound healing. His specialized areas of expertise encompass phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, green extraction techniques, wound healing studies, animal modeling, novel plant extraction methods, sustainable solvents, and Public health.
