Description & Coverage
Description:

We live in an era where diversity is acknowledged but true inclusion still remains elusive, and society is continually challenged across a variety of sectors. The tumultuous waves of the "great resignation," amplified workplace cultures like the #MeToo movement, and the glaring disparities highlighted by events like the Black Lives Matter protests have cast a stark spotlight on the critical need for equity, inclusivity, and organizational reform. The rapid evolution of technology, while promising progress, also introduces new avenues for harm, from cyber exploitation to biased artificial intelligence. These complexities create a pressing demand for innovative solutions that address the intricate interplay of these challenges, fostering environments of genuine respect, understanding, and collaboration.

Applied Research Approaches to Technology, Healthcare, and Business emerges as a beacon of transformation in the face of these multifaceted challenges. Edited by the distinguished Dr. Darrell Norman Burrell, a trailblazing academic with a rich legacy of teaching and scholarly contributions, this book presents a dynamic anthology of insights, research, and actionable recommendations. Spanning diverse fields and perspectives, the book adopts an interdisciplinary lens, unraveling the complexities of workplace dynamics, health disparities, technological advancements, and more. It delves into crucial topics such as inclusive leadership, equity in technology, dismantling bias in AI, and forging collaboration amidst religious and cultural differences. By harmonizing a spectrum of voices and expertise, this book offers a compendium of transformative approaches that individuals, educators, and professionals can readily apply.

This book, a rich resource of information, empowers readers to navigate the intricate web of challenges that permeate today's society.
