Editor/Author Biographies
Denis Yannacopoulos is a Professor of management information systems, at the Technological and Educational Institute of Pireaus, Greece. He is a proposal and structure evaluator of Continual Professional Training in the Ministry of Labor of Greece, since 1998. He received his PhD degree on the application and experimentation of a multicriteria decision support system from the University of Paris, France, in 1985. He has published many papers in national and international papers, and has participated in many research and consultative committees.
Panagiotis Manolitzas is a PhD student at the Decision Support Systems of Technical University of Crete. He holds a Bachelor in Public Administration (specialization in Management Science) from the University of Athens and a MSc in Public Management (specialization in Management Science) from the University of Athens. He taught Management Information Systems, Health Management at University of Athens, Management Information Systems at Technological Educational institute of Piraeus and Decision Support Systems at Technical University of Crete. He has over 40 publications in International, National Scientific Conferences and scientific journals. He is a Member of Hellenic Operational Research Society. His research interests lie in the areas of Simulation, Decision Support Systems for the health care organizations, health services research, process mining, multiple criteria analysis and e-government.
Nikolaos Matsatsinis is a Professor of Information and Intelligent Decision Support Systems at the Department of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete, Greece. He is Chairman of the Department, Director of Decision Support Systems Lab and President of Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS). He also has over twenty eight years of experience in Information and Decision Systems development. He has coordinate or/and contribute on over of thirty projects. He is the author or co-author of fifteen books and over of sixty six articles in international scientific journals and books. He is member of the international advisory board of three scientific journals. His research interests fall into the areas of Decision Support Systems, Artificial Intelligent and Multi-Agent Systems, Multicriteria Decision Analysis, Group Decision Support Systems, Workflow Management Systems, e-Business, e-Marketing, Consumer Behaviour Analysis.
Evangelos Grigoroudis is Professor on management of quality processes in the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete, Greece (2002-). He has received distinctions from the Hellenic Operational Research Society, the Academy of Business and Administrative Sciences, the World Automation Congress, the Foundation of Ioannis and Vasileia Karayianni, the Technical University of Crete, the State Scholarships Foundation of Greece, and the IEEE TEM Society. He is Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Board of 8 and 6 scientific journals, respectively, and he acts as reviewer for more than 80 journals. He is author and/or editor of 30 books on service quality, operations management, business strategy and management, multicriteria decision aid approaches, and innovation management. He has published more than 200 papers in scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. His research interests include service quality measurement processes, customer and employee satisfaction, performance evaluation, business excellence, operational research, multicriteria decision analysis, data analysis, and marketing.
